Dixie goes for Texas' Throat!
One of the Oil Depots belonging to the famous Tycoon, Jackson Coe, was subjected to a devious raid last week. Raiders bearing the Confederate of Dixie's insignia were seen strafing buildings and turrets, before dropping men onto a docked Oil Tanker and stealing the ship.
"It was terrible!" said Crane-Operator Hugh Norris, "Pirates came out of nowhere blazing hellfire on everything!"
But, the Texas Air rangers have urged caution, believing these raiders may have not been from - or hired by - Dixie.
Reports of a second squadron arriving, fighting with the first wave of attackers, and then letting them leave with the tanker, has the Police confused. The 2nd squad are reported to have claimed to be members of the brutal Redmann's Gang, and mercenaries from Dixie.
"We have strong reason to believe that it was Redmann's Gang who clashed with the raiders" said Chief of Police Frederick Whetsel.
The nature of the attack led to further mystery when the ship was caught by Texas Air Rangers several hours later, who said that the soldiers who captured the vessel were French Louisianan.

Mysterious attack leaves Squadron beaten!
Ace Nelson, of the Rajun' Cajuns had his entire squadron shot down by a mysterious wing of fighters.
"They just came outta nowhere! We were running a bootlegging op' in Colorado. It was just a blue-milk run ya' see? Then this wing...They just tore right through us! Stole the alcohol and flew off. Bastards stole a month's worth of pay!"

Reds involved in Canyon Battle?
Last week Pirate squadrons clashed over the Juniper Canyon.
"Wings blew off, Air-Nets tangled planes and someone even jumped out of their plane, to board another! In mid-air!" exclaimed excited witness Kelly Graham, who happened to be on a school hike, on a neighbouring hillside. "I've never seen anything so dramatic in my life!" she told our reporters.
It seems the two Squadrons were the Fighting Daredevils & the Broken Shamrocks, who are believed to be left reeling from the attack.
The only oddity is what were they after? And who was the third party involved? Air Action Weekly correspodents have reason to believe, that the Russian Cheka were involved. It seems they were co-operating with the Daredevils to steal planes. Perhaps the C.C.C.P has its sights on Texas? Only speculation can tell. Whatever the case, it is best to be guarded and prepared for any coming 'Red' alerts.
